Year 10 Students Explore An Inspector Calls

Our Year 10 GCSE English Literature students are currently captivated by their study of J.B. Priestley’s gripping play, An Inspector Calls. From analysing the enigmatic Inspector Goole to engaging in spirited debates about who holds the blame, students are fully immersed in the play’s themes of responsibility, social class, and morality.

To enhance their learning experience, we are thrilled to offer our Year 10 students the chance to watch a live performance of the play at The Grand Theatre this February. This fantastic opportunity will bring the drama to life on stage, providing valuable insights into the characters and Priestley’s powerful message.

We encourage students interested in booking a place on this trip to contact the English department for more information.

We can't wait see this timeless classic live on stage!
