On Wednesday 12th February, Adam Brown, Co-ordinator of Co-curricular Music, hosted the Teatime Concert in the Senior School Recital Room.
As always, it was an eclectic mix of genres, ranging from musicals to classical, performed by many talented students across the school. Twenty two students performed solos, duets or within a group - singing, playing piano, flute, saxophone, trumpet, clarinet, and guitar to a packed audience.
The debut performance of "Unknown Band #2" attracted a loud final round of applause after doing a fabulous performance of "Hit The Road Jack" by Ray Charles – a fitting end to the concert which had opened with a beautiful performance of "Let it Go" by Maisie singing accompanied by Ella A.
Well done to all the performers – and thank you to all the parents, family, and friends who came along to support our students - it was wonderful to see such a packed Recital Room! It’s whetted our appetites for the Spring Music Concert which takes place on Wednesday 2nd April. Tickets will go on sale next month.
