On Tuesday, Year 6 had the pleasure of welcoming Kathryn back to the Prep School, three years after she transitioned to the Senior School, to deliver an outstanding recruiting presentation and activity for the Sea Cadets. It was wonderful to see Kathryn so confident, embodying all the AKS qualities we strive for in our pupils. She truly is an outstanding ambassador for our School.
Kathryn delivered a 30-minute presentation to our Year 6 children, sharing insights about the Sea Cadet Corps and the opportunities it offers, especially for those interested in the Duke of Edinburgh Award. The children were thrilled to participate in her brilliantly planned activity, where they enjoyed making different rope knots. It was an engaging and informative session that left the children excited about the possibilities with the Sea Cadets with many wanting to sign up! Thank you again Kathryn, hopefully, you can return and do this again next year!
