On Tuesday evening, we were treated to over 75 outstanding performances as our Instrumental Showcase filled the rooms and corridors with the beautiful sounds of progress!
The Piano Room, led by Mr. Brown, shone a spotlight on musicians at the early stages of their musical journey, with some performing for the first time in front of a live audience. A particular highlight was the evening’s conclusion in this room, featuring a wonderful performance of "The Place Where the Lost Things Go", performed by a newly formed singing ensemble directed by Mrs. Stevens.
The Instrumental Room, led by Mrs. Whittaker, featured a diverse range of instruments, including guitar, flute, and brass. A special thank you goes to the wonderful Ms. Howard for her excellent accompaniment!
Finally, the Hall was led by Mr. Thomas, showcasing Year 5 and 6 piano and vocal performances. The evening also featured a debut performance by the Recorder Club, led by Mrs. Stevens, demonstrating great promise for the future.
The musical talent on display was of an incredibly high standard, and we extend our gratitude to the dedicated peripatetic staff who guide our students to thrive in their passion for music.
