Over the Easter holidays, Fylde RFC played host to a fantastic fundraising event that brought together the AKS community for a great cause. The event aimed to raise funds for the upcoming AKS Argentina and Uruguay rugby tour.
The evening was a resounding success, featuring a hot buffet, lively entertainment from The Atticks, a fantastic raffle, and plenty of fun with dancing. Our talented AKS players were on hand to assist with hospitality, ensuring that guests felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of throughout the evening.
One of the highlights of the night came when players and guests gathered around the big screen to watch a heartfelt Good Luck message from Bath & England RFC player Ollie Lawrence, adding a special touch to the event.
Thanks to the incredible support from students, parents, families, and alumni, the evening raised an astounding £3,245. This generous amount will go towards supporting the AKS players on their upcoming tour - a once in a life time opportunity for our players.
